Holme Tree: Our Kitchens

Everyone would like to achieve their dream home at some point, but with awkward walls and door frames getting in the way it can seem near enough impossible. At Holme Tree we understand that not every home will accommodate any old piece of furniture, and sometimes you need to add a bespoke touch in order to get the luxury home you’ve always wanted. We design and manufacture handcrafted furniture in the county of Leicestershire to produce high end kitchens across the UK.

We offer a variety of services from home studies and fitted wardrobes to fully bespoke fitted kitchens. The heart of your home needs to make a statement to ensure you’re using all the living space available to the best possible advantage. To complete your luxury kitchen a wide range of worktops are available like quartz from manufacturers such as Caesarstone or Silestone or granite to give that polished finish.

Many people ask, why should I invest in bespoke furniture? Our kitchens provide unlimited choice when it comes to creating the perfect design for your property. They are built to last by us in our Leicestershire workshop, leaving you with a truly bespoke kitchen that fits exactly to your needs. It doesn’t stop there; no kitchen is complete without those essential finishing touches of course – whether it’s taps by top British company Perrin & Rowe; sinks by Franke, Shaws, Villeroy and Boch and Kohler or appliances by BORA, Miele, Neff, Fisher and Paykel, Quooker and others. All of these features combine to create an overall finishing look.

Case Study

Creating beautiful pieces of furniture on a daily basis results in many happy customers. Having removed several walls, the owners of this home have created a large, light-filled, multi-purpose space. The clients were very clear about creating a kitchen with a timeless elegance but with the latest appliances to ensure their kitchen has a modern twist. The traditional cabinetry provides the perfect backdrop to a wide range of luxury Miele appliances such as the Contourline oven, microwaves, large warming drawer and induction hob.

With large open plan space, there can be the danger of a loss of focal point. However, this is certainly not the case with this example. An impressive mantel with over-shelf, curves and corbels creates a striking surround to the induction hob. We love the large central island painted in Farrow and Ball Tanner’s Brown, this is a spectacular contrast to the paler units. The choice of three large glass lanterns occupy the area above the island beautifully and create ambient lighting for a very social space. Every kitchen has to be practical for day to day living but how do you achieve that whilst maintaining a relatively clutter free environment?  Many of the practical features that help with the everyday running of the kitchen are conveniently hidden away but are nonetheless significant.  An Insinkerator waste disposal in the sink makes light work of food waste while several pull-out mechanisms by Kessebohmer help to make the most of the available space in the cabinets.  In addition to the modern internal features there are of course the wooden dove-tailed oak drawer boxes which are hidden away but always give that sense of luxurious quality whenever they are opened.
